Wow, have these 2 quilt tops been waiting to be quilted for a few years or what?

Remember the “Best Friends” panel? The cutest old quilting ladies.
The panel is surrounded with bricks and 4 patches from a fat quarter pack from the same line. Backing is from the same line that I found at our local quilt shop in the sale [...]

It’s been almost a month since my last post. SHAME ON ME! Life just gets so darn busy. I worked on my taxes all weekend. Every year I think I’m going to “keep up” rather than “catch up”. Silly me.
I have gotten three of my own quilts quilted! Remember, way back when, I said I was going to finish [...]

Not, of course, that she will remember the Dick and Jane readers. So I bought six books to get her started. And the matching tote! It is [...]

And another chance for us to get it right”.  Oprah.

This past Christmas felt strange. I was really in the Christmas spirit and could hardly wait to decorate and start my holiday baking. Then as the weeks went by, I was ready for it to be over. It seemed to drag on and on. I think, and  many of [...]

Our Thanksgiving Day was quiet. I put the turkey in the oven early, Mike helped with the stuffing and potatoes. The rolls were rising. We were drinking coffee and leisurely going thru the “Black Friday” ads in the newspaper. I had Christmas carols playing. There was snow.

 I get a bright idea…… Let’s decorate!
I have a million [...]
