Birds in Flight

I’m feeling a little rusty. Just like the old sewing machine in the picture. Today is the first full day that I’ve been back in my studio being productive. My “to do” list is full. I’m behind on my customer quilts. I had to make telephone calls today explaining the delay. Not a good way to start a busy fall season.
In fact, I’ve had this customer quilt on my machine for 2 weeks, quilting it in spurts. It is a king size “Birds in Flight”. Aren’t the applique birds cute? It’s quilted with Baptist fans. I quilted around the birds, leaving them 3 dimensional.
I’m glad to see you are feeling better. I’m sure your customers will understand the delay.
