I’m Here! In Blogland USA

This is my first entry. I sure hope I don’t bore you. My life is pretty dull. I plan to post lots of photos to help make up for it! As you will be able to see, quilting is not only my “profession”, but my obsession. I love everything having to do with fabric, patterns, and quilting designs. I love quilt shows, retreats, guild and circle meetings. 

My first photo is my new design wall. I saw the idea posted on the MQR site (thanks Christine). If you haven’t stopped in MQR, you should. Great group of gals with both knowledge and a sense of humor!

My boards are sheets of styrofoam purchased from Menards. I used good old duct tape to secure  each piece with batting then white flannel.  They are hung with large binder clips to the wall. Perfect! The quilt on the wall is a shaded nine patch. Going to be a wedding gift.

I can’t leave without showing you a picture of where I spend my days. I’m so thankful to have large windows!
